About Piper

Piper Hurley is a Senior Associate Attorney at Ferrentino + Brotz. She received her dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology, summa cum laude, and English, summa cum laude, from Florida State University. Upon graduation, she was selected and became a member of Phi Beta Kappa, America’s most prestigious academic honor society. She received her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law, where she served as Vice President of the Student Bar Association and was an actively involved member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society.  

Piper concentrates her practice on defending health care professionals, practices, facilities, and hospitals throughout the State of Florida in complex personal injury and wrongful death claims. She also routinely represents health care practitioners in actions brought by the Department of Health and Florida Board of Medicine, as well as providers in administrative actions involving the Florida Birth-Related Neurological Injury Compensation Association. In addition to her experience defending medical negligence claims, Piper has litigated a variety of general liability matters.
